The Canon Think Tank System features individual ink tanks that eliminate ink waste and save you money. With this unique feature, you can replace each ink colour as it runs out rather than replacing the entire cartridge.

Ink-Level Detectors provide a warning when ink is low.

Accurate ink-level detectors in the cartridge provide Ink Low and Ink Out warning messages as ink level drop. This warning system helps prevent wastage caused by ink running out during printing.

Drop Modulation Technology is used to generate ink droplets of two sizes with all cartridges - black, regular and photo - providing the ultimate combination of speed and quality. Maximum resolution of 1,440 x 720 dpi, obtained using the smaller droplets only, produces excellent, natural-looking gradations.

The four Photo Inks in the Photo Cartridge are designed to eliminate ink graininess, while Drop Modulation Technology produces more realistic-looking photo prints with superior gradation.

Pigment-based black ink for sharper text.

Both black BC-30 and regular colour BC-33 cartridges feature pigment-based black inks for sharper, bolder text and improved water resistance.

Color Image Scanning

Turn your printer into high-resolution scanner simply by changing the cartridge. Simply insert the IS-32 compact scanner cartridge in the BJC-3000 to transform you printer into scanner with a high resolution of 720 dpi. Prints out enlargement of selected portions of photographs (or other images) in full clarity.
