High-speed printing with simple operation: 10PPM in monochrome, 4PPM in colour
The BJC-5100 has improved printing speeds drastically, which delivers 10ppm in monochrome (using two BC-20 black cartridges) and 4ppm in colour (using two BC-21e colour cartridges). The dual cartridge system boosts printing speed by minimising the distance travelled by the print heads. the motoe and paper feed system have also been optimised for high-speed printing. For even faster output, simply select the new Draft mode on the printer driver, which combines fast bi-directional printing of text and graphics with high-precision uni-directional printing of continuous elements such as lines. In this way, draft mode delivers maximum speed without compromising quality.

PhotoRealism printing with 7-Colour photo reproduction
For even better contrast and faithful reproduction of intermediate tones, a combination of seven inks* is available. Also, two types of light and dark black ink can be used in combination, significantly improving difficult grayscale rendering. Our Drop Modulation Technology enables ink droplets of two different sizes to be emitted from the same print head. Small droplets enable fine-grained, high-quality printing, while large droplets provide high speed. Canon's commitment to quality brings you dramatically realistic reproduction.

In addition to standard A4 / Letter full-bleed printing, the BJC-5100 also supports four-colour photo-grade* printing on A3 paper in manual feed mode, as well as banner printing. Print out impressive presentation materials, event posters, and party decorations with ease.
